Our Opinion

The ES8228S is compact, easy to use and works great on sensitive skin. There are a couple of issues with the Vortex. The trimmer may be too small and tough to use on some beards. The Vortex may cost more than other shavers, but when the functions and shaving capabilities are compared and analyzed, the Vortex is worth the money. Other shaver’s offer 45 and 90 degree blade angles, but the Vortex offers a 30 degree angle, which is the sharpest blade angle. That means better shaving performance, regardless of hair coarseness or the direction of hair growth.
