Learn how to shave your bikini line today!
- First you need to determine what type of bikini line shaving you would like to do, many women find it easier to put on a pair of skimpy underwear to outline just how bare they really would like to be.
- It is important to make a mental note for how much you’d like to trim, as sometimes you may take off too much or too little and have to begin again…or wait for it to grow. Once you’ve decided how far to shave, it’s time to start trimming
- To begin, make sure your bikini zone is clean and trimmed if necessary. Also, be sure to use a fresh razor to prevent infection and ensure a clean shave.
- Make sure your hair is under a quarter of an inch long so as not to dull the razor too fast. If your hair is longer, you may trim it with some sterilized cosmetic scissors to make the task a bit easier.
- Next, to ensure a pain free experience, be sure to use a moisturizing shave cream to help create a buffer between your skin and the razor while nourishing the skin.
- Start by shaving with the direction of the hair growth to prevent too much pulling from the razor. Hold the skin taunt to create the smoothest trim.
- Once you’ve shaved all the areas you wish to trim, shaving with the hair growth, go back over it against the hair growth. It is important to use more shaving cream to reduce irritation. Remember to rinse your razor every stroke or so to keep it from becoming built up with shaving cream.
- Follow up with some oil or lavender cooling gel to relieve redness and irritation that may come within the first few hours of shaving.
Tada! Now you’re an expert on how to shave your bikini line!
